Engineer Zeinab Bashier proposed linking AI research with the needs of the petroleum sector during an Energy and Environment Committee meeting on research and exploration agreements.
The proposal included incubators for ideas from university students and researchers, enabling cooperation with the sector to develop solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs. According to Newsroom, she presented the proposal to the Chair of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, who welcomed exploring it. The initiative remains a proposal for study and research cooperation.
