From the public service archive

Thank you for the great magazine “Last Hour” for the pleasant dialogue about ((A decent life)) 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬 Interview excerpt: Engineer Zeinab Bashier, Chair of the Benhebak Ya Masr Foundation, described President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the driving force behind Egypt’s national development projects. She called the Decent Life initiative one of the most important projects of the twenty-first century and a defining step for the new republic, noting that it targets more than half of Egypt’s population. She urged civil society organisations to contribute to the presidential initiative. Bashier said the foundation was among the first to respond to the President’s call, working to promote sustainable development and serve those most in need. During COVID-19, it supported the state by donating masks, face shields and food to Cairo, Red Sea and South Sinai governorates and to the ministries of education, emigration and social solidarity. It also donated pandemic-response supplies through the Tahya Misr Fund for the Bashayer El-Khair project in Alexandria, and to the Orthodox and Catholic churches. The foundation provided humanitarian assistance to children with disabilities and sanitation workers, as well as sewing machines to families in need so they could produce goods and earn an income. #Benhebak_Ya_Masr #Tahya_Misr
