Zeinab Bashier, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Benhebak Ya Masr Foundation, announced that she has received an invitation to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025 from 14 to 16 January 2025, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
Engineer Zeinab Bashier expressed her pleasure at the invitation and also received an invitation to attend the Zayed Sustainability Prize, the global award launched by the UAE to honor innovative sustainability solutions, for the finalists of the 2025 edition.
The event is very large, with the participation of a large number of leaders and heads of state, in addition to more than 140 ministers and government officials, with the aim of advancing economic, social and technological progress and exploring the opportunities associated with economic transformation, valued at more than 10 trillion dollars.
The Chairman of the Benhebak Ya Masr Foundation pointed out that the current session of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in the current session of 2025 highlights the need to employ advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and climate technology, that will improve resource management, enhance efficiency and mitigate environmental impacts, in achieving the goals of sustainable development.

I am pleased to participate annually in the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in its 2025 edition and the Zayed Sustainability Award, under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The opening ceremony, which took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), also witnessed the presence of a number of heads of state and heads of state and government, their representatives, ministers and senior officials, as well as experts and specialists in the fields of sustainability and guests from around the world.
During his speech at the opening ceremony, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of Masdar, explained that the UAE offers many practical examples of the concept of the paradigm shift from the present to the future, as it is characterized by its success in combining heritage and traditions, and leadership in adopting the best and latest qualitative innovations.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is the first event on the global sustainability agenda this year and will foster dialogue between decision-makers, business leaders and civil society to enable them to find pathways that accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy and start a new era of growth and prosperity for all.
